Lighthome
by Jayne Hubbard and Candace Vance
Full length play. Cast: 2W, 2M. 120 min, one intermission
When Georgianna Pearson and her father arrive at the Admiralty Head Lighthouse on Whidbey Island in 1866, they know to plan for isolation, salty air, and a family stock of whale blubber. But when tragedy strikes, the last thing they expect is the early arrival of Georgie’s youngest sister, Flora…just in time for Christmas. With a hint of romance and plenty of music, the seemingly mundane lives of the forward-thinking sisters are transformed not only by Christmas, but by Epiphany.
